General Mobility
The metropolitan area of Monterrey is well
connected to Mexico’s national highway
system. The Federal Highways 40 and 40D
loop around most of the metropolis’ urbanized
areas, and connect to other roadways
including the Federal Highway 85 leading to
Texas. This roadway loop alleviates traffic
from downtown, and expedites truck traffic
between Mexico and the US.
