Official Public Viewings: The <strong>United</strong> <strong>Bid</strong><br />

will support public viewings of the 2026 FIFA<br />

World Cup in dozens of communities across<br />

our three Host Countries, as well as encourage<br />

and empower every community to participate.<br />

In accordance with FIFA regulations and<br />

assuming that FIFA will also encourage public<br />

viewing events around the world, the <strong>United</strong><br />

<strong>Bid</strong> will support the effort to link the FIFA<br />

Fan Fest in the Host Cities, official public<br />

viewings, and other events together, ensuring<br />

the largest ever out-of-home audience for<br />

a FIFA World Cup in history.<br />

Tapping Innovators: The <strong>United</strong> <strong>Bid</strong><br />

established an “Innovation Working Group”<br />

that has contributed ideas as part of the bid<br />

process (see supplemental report). We will<br />

continue to engage these creative thinkers<br />

from the most exciting institutions in Canada,<br />

Mexico, and the <strong>United</strong> States to contribute<br />

to the overall promotion of the Competition.<br />

Forming New Bonds: The <strong>United</strong> <strong>Bid</strong><br />

will leverage existing relationships across<br />

the football federations in Canada, Mexico,<br />

and the <strong>United</strong> States, and their respective<br />

professional leagues. In addition, the <strong>United</strong><br />

<strong>Bid</strong> will partner with other professional sports<br />

leagues throughout Canada, Mexico, and<br />

the <strong>United</strong> States, as well as colleges and<br />

universities, recreational leagues, and other<br />

stakeholders <strong>–</strong> those already connected to<br />

the sport of football as well as those who<br />

appreciate the power of the game <strong>–</strong> to<br />

promote the event and strengthen the<br />

bonds that link organized sport with<br />

the FIFA World Cup.<br />
