11.7 Shareholder compact between Accounting<br />
Authority and Executive Authority<br />
The Chairman of the Board and the Minister of Science<br />
and Technology may agree on a schedule of performance<br />
targets for the organisation that are set out in the shareholder<br />
compact between the Accounting Authority and Executive<br />
Authority.<br />
11.8 <strong>NRF</strong> Board term of office<br />
The Board is appointed and reconstituted every 4 years<br />
in accordance to a process outlined in Section 6(2) of the<br />
<strong>NRF</strong> Act (Act No. 23 of 1998 as amended). The current<br />
<strong>NRF</strong> Board was reconstituted by the Minister of Science<br />
and Technology and extends from 1 October 2014 to 30<br />
September <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
11.9 Composition of the <strong>NRF</strong> Board<br />
At 31 March <strong>2018</strong>, the <strong>NRF</strong> Board was constituted as set<br />
out in Figure 26.<br />
