MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT<br />
Greetings from Bangkok Airways,<br />
Time flies and we find ourselves at<br />
the end of the year again. Meanwhile,<br />
our airline keeps moving forward as<br />
we continue to engage and stay in full<br />
gear with our determination to make<br />
us ‘your chosen airline’.<br />
We take pride in the recent award<br />
received last September from TTG<br />
Travel Award, declaring Bangkok<br />
Airways as the “Best Boutique<br />
Airline” for <strong>2018</strong>. The award ceremony<br />
occurs annually to honour distinctive<br />
individuals and organisations in<br />
various sectors of the travel industry<br />
in the Asia Pacific region. As a result,<br />
this prestigious award validates our<br />
commitment and efforts into making<br />
our airline be the best as “Asia’s<br />
Boutique Airline”.<br />
Besides focusing on our excellent<br />
services, Bangkok Airways has been<br />
involved in the area of social responsibility,<br />
and we have encouraged several<br />
projects along the way. Knowing<br />
that our youth serve as crucial core<br />
resources for the nation, we initiated<br />
the “Youth Education Camp,” where<br />
we capitalise on our strength in aviation<br />
so that our youth gain knowledge and<br />
inspiration for future aviation careers<br />
– especially among the popular<br />
professions of pilot or flight attendant.<br />
Within <strong>2018</strong>, we plan to welcome<br />
2 brand-new ATR72-600 aircraft<br />
with a 70-seat capacity to join the<br />
fleet, for a total of 15 with our<br />
ATR72-500/600, together with 24<br />
for the Airbus A319 and A320.<br />
Lastly, on behalf of everyone<br />

อีกไม่นานก็จะถึงสิ้นปีแล้วนะครับ เวลา<br />
เดินไปข้างหน้าอย่างต่อเนื่อง สายการบินของ<br />
เราก็เช่นกัน เรายังคงมุ่งมั่น ตั้งใจพัฒนา<br />
การบริการอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้เราเป็น<br />
สายการบินในใจของผู้โดยสารทุกท่าน<br />
เมื่อเดือนกันยายนที่ผ่านมา สายการบินฯ<br />
ได้รับรางวัล “Best Boutique Airline” ใน<br />
งานประกาศรางวัล TTG Travel Award<br />
<strong>2018</strong> ซึ่งงานนี้จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี เพื่อเป็น<br />
เกียรติแก่บุคคลและองค์กรในอุตสาหกรรม<br />
ท่องเที่ยวที่มีความโดดเด่นในประเภทต่างๆ<br />
ของภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก รางวัลนี้เป็นอีก<br />
รางวัลหนึ่งที่เราได้รับในปีนี้ ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึง<br />
ความตั้งใจในการบริการของพนักงานทุกคน<br />
ให้สมกับสโลแกน “เอเชีย บูทีค แอร์ไลน์”<br />
นอกจากสายการบินฯ จะมุ่งเน้นเรื่อง<br />
การบริการแล้ว เรายังมีการทำโครงการ<br />
เพื่อสังคมอย่างต่อเนื่องอีกด้วย เพราะเรา<br />
เล็งเห็นว่าการที่ประเทศชาติจะมั่นคงได้ ต้อง<br />
มีรากฐานที่มั่นคง และเยาวชนก็คือรากฐาน<br />
สำคัญของประเทศชาติ ซึ่งโครงการ “ติดปีก<br />
เติมฝัน ปันความรู้ สู่อาชีพการบิน” นี้ เป็น<br />
โครงการที่มุ่งให้ความรู้และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจ<br />
แก่เยาวชน เพื่อให้เข้าถึงอาชีพในสายงาน<br />
ของธุรกิจการบิน ซึ่งอาชีพที ่เยาวชนให้<br />
ความสนใจเป็นอย่างมาก คือ นักบินและ<br />
พนักงานต้อนรับบนเครื่องบิน<br />
สำหรับฝูงบินของสายการบินบางกอก<br />
แอร์เวย์ส ภายในสิ้นปีนี้ สายการบินฯ มีแผน<br />
จะรับมอบเครื่องบินใหม่ป้ายแดงจากโรงงาน<br />
เข้าร่วมฝูงบินอีก 2 ลำ เป็นเครื่องบินแบบ<br />
ATR72-600 ความจุ 70 ที่นั่ง ซึ่งจะทำให้<br />
ฝูงบินของเราประกอบไปด้วย เครื่องบินแบบ<br />
ATR72-500 และ 600 จำนวน 15 ลำและ<br />
เครื่องบินแบบแอร์บัส A319 และ A320<br />
จำนวน 24 ลำ<br />
สุดท้ายนี้ ในนามของสายการบินบางกอก<br />
แอร์เวย์ส ผมและพนักงานทุกคนหวังว่าท่าน<br />
ผู้โดยสารจะได้รับความประทับใจตลอดการ<br />
เดินทางเมื่อเดินทางไปพร้อมกับเรา<br />
