This month there will be a talk by Chris<br />
Dawson on the History of the Mills of Ashworth<br />
and Surrounding Area. Chris is now a resident<br />
of Australia but was raised in Heywood. He<br />
has completed extensive research in respect<br />
of our local mills. He will discuss how and why<br />
he chose to research the mills of Ashworth<br />
and surrounding areas, how he developed the<br />
interactive map and all the other interesting<br />
things discovered along the way.<br />
