I couldn’t function, I was heading toward diabetes<br />

– a disease which led to my mother’s passing<br />

and I couldn’t put my own children through that.<br />

a different person. We walk everywhere, and the<br />

words. After a tough few years with depression<br />

and illness I’ve done the challenge twice. Now<br />

I’m back doing something I love, walking in the<br />

hills, nearly 8 stone lighter and have my life back,<br />

getting longer, and eventually I even signed<br />

up for a BHF London2Brighton 100km trek!<br />

that have encouraged me greatly. I have<br />

become a different person! Healthy and<br />

outgoing, I have confidence now, where<br />

before I had none. Being and feeling healthy<br />

makes me want to stay this way.<br />
