Everyone told us our wedding would<br />
go past in a flash and in all the<br />
excitement some of the best bits<br />
would seem like a blurry memory.<br />
We looked for a videographer, but<br />
they were expensive and offered the<br />
same staged, melodramatic videos.<br />
This was not what we were after. We<br />
wanted something personal, unique,<br />
affordable and more importantly fun.<br />
Something we would watch over and<br />
over again and could show the<br />
grandkids one day.<br />
We found You Film It – a great new<br />
company with a simple concept – you<br />
rent it, you film it, they edit it. They<br />
delivered top quality cameras so our<br />
friends could do all the filming. They<br />
provided online videos on how to<br />
use them and some hints and tips on<br />
how to get the best shots. Four of our<br />
friends shared the filming – they loved<br />
it, our very own Spielbergs. They took<br />
it in turns to do the filming – only 20<br />
mins each and they thought the<br />
cameras were really simple to use.<br />
Being part of the wedding party meant<br />
they could really get amongst it and<br />
film a candid un-staged view of the<br />
day. All the usual romantic stuff –<br />
ceremony, speeches, the first dance,<br />
plus the extra bits only our friends<br />
could capture – the wedding dance<br />
off, video guest books, our pre<br />
wedding interviews and morning after<br />
breakfast with a few sore heads.<br />
The DVDs were amazing – all up 90<br />
mins of edited footage including a best<br />
bits chapter, the full ceremony and<br />
speeches plus a special bonus feature.<br />
We sent extra copies to our UK relies<br />
who could not make the day and we<br />
ordered a web friendly version, so we<br />
could share the love on Facebook with<br />
our friends who were overseas at the<br />
time, so everyone felt like they were<br />
there.<br />
