on. It had a low back, which I was looking
for, and it just seemed to suit my shape. My
mother wore an Indian bridal headpiece on
her wedding day, and I liked the idea of
paying homage to her by echoing her look.”

trees, with logs for seats. We discovered
the area on a roadtrip together many
years ago, and it was our first pick. The
chuppah was designed by a close friend
and brought to life by our florist.”

has a purpose-built marquee with decking
overlooking the lake.”

hanging lights and ferns, while our florist,
supplied the logs, mirrors and mason jars.”

menu with crab cakes and jalapeño salsa,
southern fried chicken, oyster shots,
jambalaya and more!”
CAKE Sweet Art (sweetart.com.au). “It
was red velvet to tie in with the Americana
theme, as well as white chocolate flavour.”
ENTERTAINMENT Jane Arnison (based in
Berlin) and DJ Erez Eisenberg (0429 592
808). “I loved it when the DJ mixed Jai Ho
into the traditional Horah dance.”
