me as I was based in Sydney and the
wedding was in Melbourne.”
CEREMONY, RECEPTION & CATERING
Stones of the Yarra Valley (stonesofthe
yarravalley.com). “The Stones Chapel
for our ceremony and The Barn for the
reception were perfect – guests loved
how relaxed the atmosphere was, how
well they were taken care of, the food,
and the beautiful setting. We chose
family-style meals so everyone could
have a little bit of everything, and also
organised popsicles by Handmade
Ice Pops (handmadeicepops.com).”
DECORATIONS Sooti Event Styling +

items representing our love of travel and
cooking was one of our favourite things,
as well as the lights over the dance floor.”
CAKE “It was actually the wrong cake…
but everyone said it was delicious!”
ENTERTAINMENT The White Tree (the

a good mix of old and new songs.”
FAVOURS “Instead of favours, we
donated money to the Christina Nobel
Childrenʼs Foundation (cncf.com.au),
a charity that works closely to help
children in Vietnam (our background).
We visited the foundation on our last
visit to Vietnam and wanted to provide
a donation on behalf of our guests.”
