Sarah Maree and her fiancé, Rav,<br />
blending their two cultures on<br />
their wedding day was crucial.<br />
From the sari she wore to their traditional<br />
Hindu ceremony and the samosas they ate<br />
at the reception, there were nods to Rav’s<br />
Indian background throughout the day,<br />
while guests also enjoyed the photo booth,<br />
cupcakes and, of course, the DJ who got the<br />
dance floor pumping. As the ceremony was<br />
in Sanskrit, Sarah Maree’s work colleague<br />
explained each step to guests who might<br />
not have been familiar with Hindu rituals.<br />
It’s safe to say loved ones were blown away<br />
by the colourful celebrations and all of the<br />
personal touches, which helped make this<br />
special day an occasion to treasure forever.<br />
