I really loved the delicate French beaded<br />

lace and the detachable tulle – it was like<br />

I had two dresses for the day. My veil had<br />

a very soft and romantic feel.”<br />

really suited the clean, classic look we<br />

chose the invitations. He went with a<br />

boarding pass theme as it fitted with<br />

our destination wedding.”<br />

FLOWERS “It was the wrong time of year<br />

for fresh peonies so our planner organised<br />

for some silk ones to be made to mix with<br />

the real flowers. They ended up looking<br />

beautiful on the day.”<br />

CEREMONY & RECEPTION Jeeva Klui<br />

Resort, Lombok, Indonesia (jeevaklui.<br />

com). “David proposed on the beach just<br />

in front of Jeeva Klui on the same date<br />

two years ago. Along with the sentimental<br />

value, as soon as I walked into the resort<br />

I knew it was the setting for our wedding.”<br />

DECORATIONS “We wanted to keep the<br />

decorations elegant and simple, so we<br />

went with candles and glass vases with<br />

roses and a peony. The trees were lit up<br />

with lights and we had banana trunk<br />

candle holders to light up the pool area.”<br />

CATERING “The menu was a delicious<br />

combination of Indonesian food and fine<br />

cuisine. We went with a buffet style to<br />

go with the relaxed atmosphere. Waiters<br />

served Billecart-Salmon champagne as<br />

soon as the ceremony was over, to get<br />

the party off to a great start.”<br />

ENTERTAINMENT “Our planner organised<br />

our DJ, who flew in from Bali. He played a<br />

mixture of dinner music while guests were<br />

eating, then, when the espresso martinis<br />

were flowing, the party music kicked in!”<br />
