of Democracy

It would seem the UK, still whistling in the
dark ages with a debateably unjust ‘first
past the post’ election system coupled with
an unelected House of Lords with veto
powers ... and a current tory government
elected using fraudulent expenses – are
hardly the standard anyone would use to
measure ‘democracy’?
I cut a long article planned, not wishing to
add to the nonsense, the ridiculous hot air
parading as fact, the coleection of myths
and blatant scaremongering repeated until
we are all blind, in this, the European Union
referendum.

Why has parliament relinquished its right
to govern us, its a distraction from real life
surely, for since when have our government
and their paymasters, big business, ever
allowed the citizenry to decide on anything
supposedly this important? It can only be
that either way they don’t give a shit, they
know that whatever ‘we’ decide, they will
still be in the saddle!
