TOP 3 ADVENTURE THINGS TO DO IN SLOVENIA<br />

Slovenia, is known for its mountains, ski resorts and lakes, but there are many other<br />

adventure activities that are on offer for all to enjoy, such as city adventure, sailing,<br />

2. Only 7 kms from Postojna is one of the largest equestrian centres in Slovenia. Situated<br />

at Castle Prestranek, a wonderful location within 300 hectares of fields and forests,<br />

on offer are a variety of horse activities including lessons, riding, camps and therapy,<br />

using their Icelandic horses.<br />

With ac<strong>com</strong>modation also available, this is a great way to get close to nature and<br />

enjoy an equestrian experience in this wonderful setting.<br />

1. Postojna Adventure Park, located close to Postojna Cave, is a forest adventure course,<br />

where it is necessary to navigate yourself across different routes. To succeed, you will<br />

need to <strong>com</strong>plete the 73 challenges which includes; ladders, ropes, nets, wires etc.<br />

to get from one place to another in as quickest time as possible.<br />

This is ideal for all, whether families, teenagers or <strong>com</strong>panies on team building<br />

3. Cave trekking is another exciting adventure to be had, also in the area of Postojna<br />

where you can trek through the caves systems, beyond the typical tourist routes and<br />

do a deep exploration of the Postojna and Predjama cave systems.<br />

Visit networks of the caves rarely seen, but to do so, it is necessary to over<strong>com</strong>e some<br />

difficult paths such as water sections.<br />
