#5 Bustang / RTD
Bustang and RTD, Regional Transportation
District (Denver’s transit system), together
provide an option for students to travel between
the CSU campus and the Anschutz Medical
Campus in Aurora.
Bustang is the inter-regional express bus
service provided by the Colorado Department of
Transportation. The bus picks up from the
Downtown Transit Center in Fort Collins,
located on Laporte and Mason, or at the
Harmony Road transfer station, located at
Harmony and I-25. The Bustang will stop in
Loveland and Longmont then travel direct to
Denver’s downtown Union Station. One way
fare is $10 and takes about 1 hour to arrive at
Union Station.
In Union Station, students will transfer to an
RTD bus for the last portion of the trip. From
gate B19, you will board Bus #20, going east to
the Anschutz Medical Campus. The bus ride is
$2.25 each way. The ride from Union Station to
Anschutz will take approximately 1 hour.
This option offers MPH students the opportunity
to travel back and forth between campuses.
