Prep & Pastry Opens
Prep & Pastry, known as a go-to
inside an indoor-outdoor space
wrapping around the ground floor of
the Broadstone Waterfront, Prep &
Pastry is open daily from 7 a.m.-3
p.m., offering breakfast, lunch and
Vegan Eats
Local fast-casual eatery Fired Pie
recently added a new healthy meat
alternative for vegetarians, vegans and
meat lovers alike. The plant-based chorizo
has a real chorizo taste and contains
9 grams of protein. Diners can
add it to their own salad or pizza creations,
or have it on the new Tostada
Pizza instead of the chicken. The pizza
comes with housemade dough, vegan
black beans, mozzarella, mild cheddar
cheese, chicken , romaine lettuce,
pico de gallo, ranch dressing, chopped
green onions and tortilla strips. The
vegan chorizo joins other vegan and
healthy alternatives on Fired Pie’s
menu, including cauliflower pizza
crust, gluten-free crust and vegan
cheese. www.firedpie.com.
