“Dedication” as well as “Diligence”
“What we do is provide the watercraft
as well as services for whatever event or
occasion you’d like to do onboard,” Landy
explains. “But we focus on quality, instead of
quantity, so it’s nothing like the major mega
cruises. Think of a holiday or a private event
with only your closest family members or
best friends, allowing you to fully enjoy the
moment.” In the past, a yachting holiday
would usually be too expensive for the
typical Malaysian, given the high price of
such luxury watercrafts. However, Ediracle’s
business model of managing short-term
rentals for boat owners willing to let their
yachts out allows the experience to be a
more democratic holiday, offering all-in
holiday packages at more attainable prices.
Networking with overseas partners, the
company is able to offer packages to holiday
in more than 60 destinations worldwide,
providing everything the client might need
from food and beverage onboard, to water
activity setups, even accommodation on land
should the client need so after disembarking
the boat.
“Basically, we tailor the package to the
needs of the client,” says Landy. This could
be a two days, one night package for a
10-person wedding party that includes meals
and a wedding photoshoot, or supplying
water jet skis for the enjoyment of clients
and their guests while sailing on the seas.
For Landy, the most important aspect of the
business is ensuring that clients come away
from the experience with a great experience
and memories – circling back to why she
wanted to start the business in the first place.
