Discover up and coming eateries and the movers and shakers of the<br />

culinary scene at this year’s Tiffin Food Court. If you have always<br />

wanted to eat everything in the Valley but haven’t been able to,<br />

now is your chance. Happening over the course of a few weekends<br />

at <strong>The</strong> Gasket Alley, this event sees several of the best restaurants<br />

and bars in KL set up shop like a food court offering their signature<br />

items. <strong>The</strong> roster of vendors is updated regularly, so keep an eye on<br />

the website and social media for the weekly line-up.<br />

Catch ‘Dust and the Silence in the Sun’, Cheong Kiet Cheng’s<br />

third solo exhibition with the Wei-Ling Contemporary gallery.<br />

In her most recent series, she touches on the question of how<br />

the spirits in our world relate to the rest of the universe. Cheong<br />

also explores the idea of the future by taking inspiration from<br />

space travel to Mars, while continuing her ongoing interest<br />

in showcasing a spiritual realm that is based on the nature of<br />

our own world. She is also the recipient of the Fukuoka Art<br />

Museum Residency where she will be presenting her works in<br />

an upcoming exhibition in <strong>Oct</strong>ober <strong>2019</strong>.<br />

Central Embassy brings Indonesian environmental artist Mulyana to<br />

Bangkok for his first ever immersive art exhibition in the city, Anima<br />

Mundi: Soul of the World. <strong>The</strong> artist aims to raise awareness in saving<br />

the environment through his interpretation of life under the sea and his<br />

masterpieces made from discarded metal, fabrics and materials. Anima<br />

Mundi: Soul of the World features a massive 12-meter long whale skeleton,<br />

a 5-meter tall Mogus, four whales, 5,000 fish mobiles, and coral reefs.<br />

Wonder<br />

<strong>The</strong> Gallery Children’s Biennale returns for its second bi-yearly edition with the<br />

theme “Embracing Wonder”. Designed for the young and young-at-heart to<br />

explore their imaginative sides, visitors can look forward to 11 interactive artworks<br />

by Singapore and Southeast Asian artists that provide meaningful insights<br />

into art. <strong>The</strong> Gallery Children’s Biennale furthers the Gallery’s commitment<br />

to empower children in their development by sparking their imagination and<br />

creativity through art.<br />
