Wellington College International Hangzhou is
the newest K-12 international school to open
in Hangzhou, providing a world-class holistic
international education for expatriate children.
With deep ties to the Wellington College in England
and with sister international schools in Tianjin and
Shanghai, Wellington College International Hangzhou
provides the high quality, values-based education
that has become synonymous with the Wellington
College name.
The purpose-built 74,000 square meter campus is
equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including; a
560-seat grand theatre and performing arts centre,
1,500 sqm. indoor gymnasium, FIFA-standard football
pitch, 400-metre all-weather synthetic running track,
basketball and badminton courts, and two swimming
pools, including a 25-metre, six-lane competition
pool. Other facilities include modern libraries, several
community cafes, design and technology suites, fully
equipped science labs and more.
Wellington College International Hangzhou follows
the English National Curriculum in Pre-Prep and Prep
School, enhanced by the cross-curricular International
Primary Curriculum (IPC). In Senior High, pupils will
study the IGCSE and either A Level or IB Diploma
Programme depending on their needs and desired
study pathway.
Wellington operates 14 bus lines with over 50 stops
to the key expatriate locations around Hangzhou.
