cultured milk, cream and salt. Today, Sierra Nevada Cheese Company continues using
the same recipe and old-fashioned, 3-day process of draining the cream cheese in
muslin bags, receiving many awards for its lighter, fuller texture & fresh, creamy flavor.
KENDALL FARMS (USA, CALIFORNIA)
Kendall Farms is a family-owned company started in 1981 by Sadie Kendall, whose
grandmother was from Normandy, France. Their crème fraîche started as a secondary
product but it became the main and only product in the company’s portfolio in 1987.
The Kendall Farms’ crème fraîche remains faithful to the original French version and
became a classic used by the finest chefs in California.
