It all began in 1882 in Saint Etienne, France, the land of chocolate. This story is first
and foremost that of Eugène Weiss, creator and pioneer. He discovered the art of
blending and created Haut Chocolat. In order not to lose any of this tradition and
craftsmanship, Weiss controlled all production and never ceased to innovate “by and
