Ouday Çfa (Au, Pb and platinoïds)
On Ouday Çfa prospect, located at 300 km
to the North of Dakhla (Awserd province),
the geological control of aeromagnetic and
radiometric anomalies by mapping at scale
1/25 000 over 22 sq km and sampling of pyrite
quartz veins and iron oxides enabled to take
406 samples that are undergoing chemical
analyses.
Kerdous (Au)
In the prospect of Assif M’kkorn valley, located at
120 km NE of Tiznit (Tiznit province), the control
of goldbearing alluvional anomalies by mapping
at scale 1/25 000 over 22 sq Km, by soil
geochemistry and litho-geochemical sampling
was carried on (885 rock and soil samples).The
first profiles of soil geochemistry show anomal
gold contents, with grades ranging between 10
and 100 ppb and a maximal value of 942 ppb
Au.
A pilot study by conceptual targeting was carried
out as part of an external expert valuation.
The targets identified will undergo a detailed
control.
Khzama (Au, Ag, platinoïds)
In Khzama project, located in Sirwa massive
(Ouarzazate province), the control of alluvional
geochemical anomalies helped to localize a
fracturation zone with a general orientation of
N-S to NW-SE, made up of ferruginous quartz,
mylonites and gossans with an extension of
several hundreds of meters. Most samples
analyzed show gold grades ranging from 0.1
to 12 g/t.

Tidili (Au)
Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines
In Tidili prospect, located at 90 km to the West of
Ouarzazate (Ouarzazate province), a geological
reconnaissance by sampling and a geological
mapping were conducted and yielded indexed
results in gold (0.1 to 0.3 g/t), in Cu (1.2 %) and
in Ag (24 g/t).
Ain Chair (Au)
In Aïn Chair prospect, located at 300 km to the
South of Oujda (Figuig province), a geological
control by mapping at 1/25 000 over 54 sq km
and sampling have been carried out.The results
obtained so far are weak and range between
0.1 and 0.8 g/t for gold and do not exceed
2 % for copper.
General exploration (precious metals)
RG-MP South zone (Au, platinoïds)
The general exploration carried out in the central
part of Adrar Soutouf (Awserd province), by soil
geochemistry (960 sq km with ONHYM’s own
means), geophysics, mapping and sampling
has permitted to highlight Lamlaga structure
which yielded grades reaching 0.6 % Ce ;
0.5 % La ; 0.2 % Nd ; 0.17 % Nb ; 77 % Fe 2 O 3
and 160 ppm U.
On the other hand, the synthesis of data from
the soil geochemistry survey carried out by
subcontracting over an area of 5000 sq km in
Awserd region helped to define new anomalies
in U, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, Cr, Co, Au, Pd and Pt, in
Glyeb Adrag, Gleybat al Hay Aç Çamet, Twirga
and Lahwida prospects, in Nb-Ta in Tagnaddest
zone, and Au in Imakrene Lakhdar.
