several of the region’s celebrated national
parks, spectacular landscapes unfold before
you. Admire towering hoodoos, rushing rivers

Day 1: Fly to Las Vegas
Fly directly from London (regional connections
available) to Las Vegas with British Airways.
On arrival, transfer to Treasure Island Hotel &
Casino for 1 night. (N)
Day 2: Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks
Depart for Zion National Park, stopping at
Zion Lodge for lunch (at own expense).
Continue to Bryce Canyon for a moderate
hike on the Navajo Loop. As you walk between
the narrow walls of colourful limestone,
you’re met by views of sprawling, evergreen
Douglas firs. See the park’s most famous
hoodoo, Thor’s Hammer. Overnight at
Antelope Canyon, Arizona

Day 3: Horseshoe Bend & Lake Powell
This morning, enjoy a walk along the rim of
Bryce Canyon, then travel to Lake Powell.
En route, you will stop for panoramic views
of an astonishing man-made lake, as well
as Horseshoe Bend – one of the most
photographed sites in the South West – where
the green waters of the Colorado River have
forged a horseshoe shape through the Navajo
Sandstone. Overnight at Lake Powell Resorts

Day 4: Antelope Canyon & Monument Valley
Visit Antelope Canyon: a labyrinth of tall,
winding rock walls forming one of the most
spectacular slot canyons in the world. Your
tour continues to Monument Valley, where a
4x4 experience allows you to view the valley’s
famous sandstone buttes – some of which
reach heights of 300m. Overnight at Kayenta

Day 5: Canyon de Chelly & Petrified Forest
Transfer to Canyon de Chelly, famed for its
multihued sandstone walls – a tapestry of
crimson, ambers and oranges. Take a leisurely
horse ride * inside the canyon with a Navajo
guide, the relaxed pace allowing you to soak
up your surroundings. Enjoy a local taco lunch
before travelling to the Petrified Forest, known
for its large deposits of petrified vegetation.

Day 6: Sedona
Your first stop today is the Meteor Crater
Natural Landmark, where you learn about
the history and geology of the meteorite
