Day 1: Fly to Las Vegas<br />

Fly directly from London (regional connections<br />

available) to Las Vegas with British Airways.<br />

On arrival, transfer to Treasure Island Hotel &<br />

Day 2: Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks<br />

Depart for Zion National Park, stopping at<br />

Zion Lodge for lunch (at own expense).<br />

Continue to Bryce Canyon for a moderate<br />

hike on the Navajo Loop. As you walk between<br />

the narrow walls of colourful limestone,<br />

you’re met by views of sprawling, evergreen<br />

Douglas firs. See the park’s most famous<br />

hoodoo, Thor’s Hammer. Overnight at<br />

Antelope Canyon, Arizona<br />

Day 3: Horseshoe Bend & Lake Powell<br />

This morning, enjoy a walk along the rim of<br />

Bryce Canyon, then travel to Lake Powell.<br />

En route, you will stop for panoramic views<br />

of an astonishing man-made lake, as well<br />

as Horseshoe Bend – one of the most<br />

photographed sites in the South West – where<br />

the green waters of the Colorado River have<br />

forged a horseshoe shape through the Navajo<br />

Sandstone. Overnight at Lake Powell Resorts<br />

Day 4: Antelope Canyon & Monument Valley<br />

Visit Antelope Canyon: a labyrinth of tall,<br />

winding rock walls forming one of the most<br />

spectacular slot canyons in the world. Your<br />

tour continues to Monument Valley, where a<br />

4x4 experience allows you to view the valley’s<br />

famous sandstone buttes – some of which<br />

reach heights of 300m. Overnight at Kayenta<br />

Day 5: Canyon de Chelly & Petrified Forest<br />

Transfer to Canyon de Chelly, famed for its<br />

multihued sandstone walls – a tapestry of<br />

crimson, ambers and oranges. Take a leisurely<br />

horse ride * inside the canyon with a Navajo<br />

guide, the relaxed pace allowing you to soak<br />

up your surroundings. Enjoy a local taco lunch<br />

before travelling to the Petrified Forest, known<br />

for its large deposits of petrified vegetation.<br />

Day 6: Sedona<br />

Your first stop today is the Meteor Crater<br />

Natural Landmark, where you learn about<br />

the history and geology of the meteorite<br />
