Day 9: Fly to the Masai Mara<br />

Transfer to the airstrip for a short scheduled<br />

flight to Tarime, then transfer to Migori for<br />

enjoy the rest of your day at leisure, with the<br />

option of a safari drive. Overnight at Mara<br />

Day 10: Masai Mara<br />

Spend a full day in the Masai Mara on morning<br />

and afternoon safari drives, with the option<br />

of a hot-air balloon ride at extra cost. The<br />

renowned Masai Mara reserve and its adjunct<br />

concessions are home to prolific wildlife,<br />

including the ‘Big Five’. Travel between August<br />

and September and you may also witness the<br />

dramatic, heart-in-your-mouth river crossings<br />

of the Great Migration. Overnight at Mara<br />

Day 11: Lake Naivasha, Great Rift Valley<br />

Transfer from the Masai Mara to Lake<br />

Naivasha, arriving in this wildlife-rich area<br />

of the Great Rift Valley for an afternoon at<br />

leisure. Optional activities include walks and<br />

community visits. Overnight at Lake Naivasha<br />

Days 12-13: Lake Naivasha • Fly to the UK<br />

Take a morning boat ride on the shimmering<br />

freshwater lake of Naivasha. Then, enjoy a<br />

presentation on conservation pioneer Joy<br />

Adamson, sample speciality teas and visit the<br />

local museum. This afternoon, transfer to Jomo<br />

Kenyatta airport for your outbound flight.<br />
