Elephants, Amboseli National Park<br />
Tanzania and Kenya share hosting duties<br />

annual wildebeest migration. This group tour<br />
offers the chance to follow the millions of<br />
migrating wildebeests, zebras and antelopes<br />
as they move from the Serengeti to the Masai<br />

Day 1: Fly to Nairobi<br />
Fly from London (regional connections<br />
available) to Nairobi. Overnight at the<br />
Sheraton Four Points (or similar).<br />
Day 2: Amboseli National Park<br />
Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National<br />
Park by custom safari vehicle. Arrive for lunch<br />
followed by wildlife watching activities, when<br />
you may spot elephants silhouetted against the<br />
Day 3: Amboseli National Park<br />
Spend a full day in Amboseli embarking on<br />
thrilling morning and afternoon safari drives<br />
that showcase the park’s diversity of wildlife.<br />
Look out for bush elephant, cape buffalo,<br />
spotted hyena, lion, cheetah and more.<br />

Day 4: Moshi, West Kilimanjaro<br />
This morning, depart Amboseli and drive<br />
approximately 2 hours to the Tarakea border,<br />
crossing into Tanzania. Moshi is one of<br />
Tanzania’s most vibrant townships, and your<br />
visit reveals authentic village life. Spend the<br />
rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Kambi<br />
ya Tembo (or similar). (B, L, D)<br />
Day 5: Ngorongoro highlands<br />
Spend your morning within the West<br />
Kilimanjaro conservancy, visiting a Maasai<br />
village. Then, drive for 2 hours to Arusha for<br />
lunch, before proceeding for 3 hours to the<br />
Ngorongoro highlands – arriving for leisure<br />
time and dinner. Overnight at Ngorongoro<br />
Farmhouse (or similar). (B, L, D)<br />
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater<br />
Today, you visit one of Africa’s most dramatic<br />
wildlife destinations: the UNESCO-listed<br />
Ngorongoro Crater. Descend to the crater<br />
floor in search of the ‘Big Five’, the forested<br />
walls providing a photogenic backdrop. Travel<br />
through the Lerai Forest looking for leopard<br />
and onto the plains where wildebeests and<br />
zebras graze whilst cheetahs and lions lie in<br />
watch. Old elephants may pass your vehicle<br />
as distant rhinos wander and hippos wade. A<br />
picnic lunch maximises your time in the crater.<br />
Return to your lodge late afternoon. Overnight<br />
at Ngorongoro Farmhouse (or similar). (B, L, D)<br />
Day 7: Serengeti National Park<br />
Descend from the Ngorongoro Crater onto the<br />
vast plains of the Serengeti, famous for hosting<br />
the annual Great Wildebeest Migration from<br />
October to July, as well as numerous species<br />
year-round. The concentration of predators in<br />
the Serengeti is high, with large prides of lion,<br />
numerous hyena clans, and regular sightings<br />
of both cheetah and leopard. Elephants,<br />
buffaloes, giraffes and antelopes can be found<br />
grazing, as can lesser-known species such as<br />
aardwolves, mongooses, caracals, servals,<br />
and hyraxes. Overnight at Kati Kati Camp<br />

Day 8: Serengeti National Park<br />
Spend your day exploring the extensive plains<br />
of the Serengeti in search of the ‘Big Five’. If<br />
