Day 1: Fly to Zimbabwe via Johannesburg
Fly overnight from London (regional
connections available) to Victoria Falls,
Zimbabwe via Johannesburg. (N)
Day 2: Victoria Falls
Arrive and proceed to your hotel for a freshen
up, before your special welcome by a guest
speaker ahead of your dinner. Overnight at the
Rock paintings, Matobo National Park
Pioneers Lodge (or similar). (D)
Day 3: Victoria Falls
This morning, visit a village approximately
20km from Victoria Falls town where you can
witness daily life unfold. This is a chance for
a rewarding cultural exchange as well as an
insight into rural Zimbabwean living. Dine at
a traditional local restaurant before returning
to your hotel. Later, a sundowner cruise on
the Zambezi provides the cherry on top.

Day 4: Victoria Falls
Embark on a private guided tour of Victoria
Falls – whose local name aptly translates to
'The Smoke that Thunders'. Whilst regaling you
with interesting facts and figures, your guide
will ensure you have plenty of opportunities to
photograph this iconic UNESCO World Heritage
Site. Continue to the Elephant’s Walk shopping
centre and art village for a special behindthe-scenes
visit of the Ndau Studio, meeting
its local artists and craftsmen. Later this
afternoon, stop by the famous Victoria Falls
Hotel for afternoon tea on the Stanley Terrace
with a view of the Victoria Falls Bridge.
Nibble on savouries and cakes with your
favourite tea. Return to the hotel with your
evening at leisure. Overnight at the Pioneers
Lodge (or similar). (B)
Day 5: Hwange National Park
A four-hour drive delivers you deep inside a
private concession in Hwange National Park’s
northern reaches. This region is renowned
for wildlife viewing opportunities, as you
will discover with days of thrilling safaris ahead
