Correspondents include the British Museum, BMNH, Pitt Rivers<br />

Museum, the Linnean Society, the Royal Society, Royal<br />

Geographical Society and Royal Botanic Gardens Kew; a number<br />

have copies or draft replies in WGW's hand on the back.<br />

Papers have been arranged in alphabetical order by correspondent<br />

and then by date, apparently the order created by William Greenell<br />

<strong>Wallace</strong>, though some letters from the British Museum found loose<br />

have been inserted.<br />
