taken by booksellers, 2 volume edition (1905) still being sold;<br />

invitation from the RI (Royal Institution of Great Britain) to give<br />

an evening lecture at the Jubilee of the ''Origin of Species'' next<br />

January, initially reluctant but now has some new ideas and has<br />

accepted provisionally, Crookes (Honorary Secretary) has offered<br />

to read on his behalf if necessary.<br />
