and SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
In each issue of The Tower magazine we spotlight select seniors who stand out amongst their
peers. These seniors are given to us by the Upper School Adminstrators, and represent the three
pillars that make a successful Montverde Academy student - knowledge, character, and community.
While it was exciting to have Pavlos Tentomas as the top male choice for senior spotlight, it was
incredible that he was also the Class of 2022ʼs Salutatorian! He will be attending Georgetown
University in the fall.

Polished, professional, passionate. An organized leader, a
committed team member, a person who makes an impact
wherever he goes. Pavlos Tentomas. The first time I heard
Pavlos speak was at MVA Middle School Honors night
where he presented an eighth-grade graduation speech
that was so thoughtful and engaging it inspired thunderous
applause! It was clear even then that Pavlos was going to
make his mark on MVA.
has been an essential part of the SIMA team and other
academic groups such as President of the Honor Council,
Director of the Night for the Cure event, President of the
Advisory Council, Salutatorian of his graduating class, and
much more.
At the start of his sophomore year, Pavlos committed
to working with Night for the Cure (NFC); since then, I
have had the honor of a having front row seat to both
the personal and the leadership growth of this incredible
young man. Throughout his tenure as Student Director of
NFC, Pavlos has become polished in his communication
with others, professional in planning and leading
meetings, and passionate and intentional about growing
as a leader and how he can best help others grow along
with him. He is a role model to younger students and a
leader among his peers.
His love for soccer began at age five, and just as
dedicated as he is to academics, he is to the sport. Pavlos
is a part of SIMA (Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy,
where he brings his serious work ethic to the field on the
Varsity team while balancing challenging academics.
