VICTOR SAVIAN (6)
married Thaís Fusco this
past January with the
blessing of their parents.
Victor was a part of the first
soccer program at MVA. He
graduated from UNIP in 2020
and works in foreign trade in
Valinhos, Brazil.
2012
CLAIRE XIONG (7), 2012
MVA Salutatorian, completed
her undergraduate at UC
Berkeley with a Bachelor’s
of Arts in Economics and
Media Studies. She got her
first MBA from Said Business
School, the University of
Oxford in 2021. She recently
received her second MBA
from Jones Graduate School
of Business at Rice University
in May 2022. She will begin
a career at Google ® as a
growth strategy manager.

Congratulations to KAILIN
(KESSELRING) GRAVES
(8) on her marriage to Ethan
Graves. The Tennessee
wedding was attended
by several alumni and
Montverde Academy faculty.

LUJIA “LUKE” ZHANG (9)
graduated from Rose Hulman
Institute of Technology
with a bachelor’s degree
focused in computer science,
software engineering, and
mathematics in 2017. He
also completed a Master of
Science in Machine Learning
in 2021. He is a senior
data scientist at Resultant.
Lujia is making his mark in
Indiana as he was featured
in the Indianapolis Business
Journal “Twenty in Their 20s”
which has led to speaking
engagements and local
television appearances. He
is currently a member of the
highly coveted Stanley K
Lacy Executive Leadership
Series-Class XLV and a
Board member of CFA
Society Indianapolis.
JANKI PATEL (10) attended
DePaul College where she
majored in political science.
She was a part of De Paul
College Dance Marathon,
the Dean’s List, Dean’s
Scholarship, Delta Zeta, and
served as a Recruitment
Counselor. In May 2022,
she graduated Magna Cum
Laude from the University of
Illinois College of Law. She
has accepted an associate
position at Thompson
Coburn, LLP
in Chicago.
CORINNE MISSI (11) aka
“Miss Missi,” completed
her studies in actuarial
mathematics and business
administration from Spring
Hill College in 2017. That
same year, she won the
crown of Miss Africa USA
2017-18 with the social
project of empowering young
girls in STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering,
and Mathematics) education.
For the last three years, Miss
Missi has been the founder
and promoter of SACAY, a
group of two companies:
textile garment manufacturing
and a wood carpentry/joinery
whose mission is to contribute
to the industrialization of
the African continent for
sustainable development,
financial independence, and
a considerable increase in
employment.

SHAFA NATHANI is currently
at Tufts University School of
Dental Medicine and is slated
to graduate in 2024.
