JAKE LABRADOR (12)<br />

has been in ministry full<br />

time since leaving MVA.<br />

He is currently attending<br />

Lee University studying<br />

Pastoral Ministry. He works<br />

at Discovery Church Sand<br />

Lake Campus and resides<br />

in Windermere with his wife<br />

McCayla and daughter Kaia.<br />

2016<br />

MANOLY JOSE<br />

BAQUERIZO (13) graduated<br />

from Clayton State University<br />

in 2020 with a Bachelorʼs<br />

degree in Biology. After<br />

graduating, she became a<br />

professional soccer player in<br />

Spain. Currently, she plays<br />

on the Ecuadorian Women’s<br />

National Team, which<br />

recently qualified for the<br />

Copa America World cup this<br />

summer.<br />

JENNA EDWARDS (14)<br />

relocated to Spain in 2017<br />

where she completed a<br />

Bachelor’s degree in History<br />

and Spanish at Saint<br />

Louis University - Madrid<br />

Campus and a Master’s<br />

degree in Marketing and<br />

Communications at IE<br />

University. She recently<br />

accepted a job offer as a<br />

Digital Consultant in<br />

Madrid, Spain.<br />

Congrats to ISABELLA<br />

OJEDA (15) on her<br />

engagement to Mario<br />

Benedetti. She works for<br />

a company called Culture<br />

Accelerators as a Client and<br />

Community Engagement<br />

Manager. The company is a<br />

strategic advisory firm and<br />

change catalyst to senior<br />

executives in healthcare,<br />

education, tech-driven<br />

corporations, and the public<br />

sector.<br />

2017<br />

SAM VICTOR graduated<br />

from Embry-Riddle<br />

Aeronautical University where<br />

he majored in homeland<br />

security and is currently<br />

pursuing his Master’s degree<br />

in Cybersecurity. He has<br />

accepted a position at BNSF<br />

Railway as an IT auditing<br />

management trainee.<br />

NATALIA RODRIGUEZ (16)<br />

graduated from the University<br />

of Michigan, Ross School of<br />

Business in 2021 and played<br />

collegiate softball (making the<br />

Big 10 All Defensive Team<br />

and 3x Big 10 Champion).<br />

She currently lives in<br />

Portland, Oregon working in<br />

commercial banking for Bank<br />

of America. She continues to<br />

be a member of the Puerto<br />

Rican Women’s National<br />

Softball Team and will<br />

compete next in The<br />

World Games <strong>2022</strong>.<br />

KAUFFMAN (17) on<br />

completing her Master’s<br />

Degree in Communication &<br />

Business Leadership at High<br />

Point University. She will be<br />

working as a news producer<br />

for FOX8 in High Point, NC.<br />

2018<br />

KATHERINE CARPENTER<br />

(18) graduated from Lake-<br />

Sumter State College with<br />

AA in 2020. She played<br />

indoor volleyball at LSSC<br />

her freshman year and the<br />

team made it to the national<br />

tournament and finished<br />

11th in the nation. In her<br />

sophomore year, she was a<br />

part of the first-ever beach<br />

volleyball program at LSSC.<br />

She is currently working at<br />

Global Sourcing Group in<br />

marketing and sales.<br />

JULIAN PERICO (19) is a<br />

senior at the University of<br />

Arkansas and plays golf for<br />

the Razorbacks. He was the<br />

2021 Arnold Palmer Cup<br />
