JAKE LABRADOR (12)
has been in ministry full
time since leaving MVA.
He is currently attending
Lee University studying
Pastoral Ministry. He works
at Discovery Church Sand
Lake Campus and resides
in Windermere with his wife
McCayla and daughter Kaia.
2016
MANOLY JOSE
BAQUERIZO (13) graduated
from Clayton State University
in 2020 with a Bachelorʼs
degree in Biology. After
graduating, she became a
professional soccer player in
Spain. Currently, she plays
on the Ecuadorian Women’s
National Team, which
recently qualified for the
Copa America World cup this
summer.
JENNA EDWARDS (14)
relocated to Spain in 2017
where she completed a
Bachelor’s degree in History
and Spanish at Saint
Louis University - Madrid
Campus and a Master’s
degree in Marketing and
Communications at IE
University. She recently
accepted a job offer as a
Digital Consultant in
Madrid, Spain.
Congrats to ISABELLA
OJEDA (15) on her
engagement to Mario
Benedetti. She works for
a company called Culture
Accelerators as a Client and
Community Engagement
Manager. The company is a
strategic advisory firm and
change catalyst to senior
executives in healthcare,
education, tech-driven
corporations, and the public
sector.
2017
SAM VICTOR graduated
from Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University where
he majored in homeland
security and is currently
pursuing his Master’s degree
in Cybersecurity. He has
accepted a position at BNSF
Railway as an IT auditing
management trainee.
NATALIA RODRIGUEZ (16)
graduated from the University
of Michigan, Ross School of
Business in 2021 and played
collegiate softball (making the
Big 10 All Defensive Team
and 3x Big 10 Champion).
She currently lives in
Portland, Oregon working in
commercial banking for Bank
of America. She continues to
be a member of the Puerto
Rican Women’s National
Softball Team and will
compete next in The
World Games 2022.

KAUFFMAN (17) on
completing her Master’s
Degree in Communication &
Business Leadership at High
Point University. She will be
working as a news producer
for FOX8 in High Point, NC.
2018
KATHERINE CARPENTER
(18) graduated from Lake-
Sumter State College with
AA in 2020. She played
indoor volleyball at LSSC
her freshman year and the
team made it to the national
tournament and finished
11th in the nation. In her
sophomore year, she was a
part of the first-ever beach
volleyball program at LSSC.
She is currently working at
Global Sourcing Group in
marketing and sales.
JULIAN PERICO (19) is a
senior at the University of
Arkansas and plays golf for
the Razorbacks. He was the
