TIPS
Keyboard Shortcut!
You can change the size of the Brush tool by pressing
the right and left bracket keys, or by pressing
Control+Option (right-click+Alt) and clicking and
dragging right or left. If you use a Wacom pen tablet,
you can click the Tablet Pressure Controls Size and/or
the Tablet Pressure Controls Opacity buttons in the
Options panel ( and ) and then alter both the
brush size and opacity depending on how hard you
press down on the stylus.
Did You Know?
You can also vary the hardness or softness of the
Eraser or Brush tools using the keyboard rather than
the Brush picker. Click the Eraser or Brush tool to
select it. Press and hold Shift as you repeatedly press
the right or left bracket keys, or press Control+Option
(right-click+Alt) while clicking and dragging up or
down to increase the hardness or the softness of
the tool.
