Luminance slider to the right and
the Luminance Detail slider to
the left, keeping an eye on the
image at 100% to make sure the
person still looks natural.

Simplifying the details and boosting the
colors help prepare the photo before
using it as a base for a painting. If you
are going to use the photo as a base for
a sketch, reduce the saturation instead
of increasing it, and increase the clarity.
Then reduce the luminance noise and
detail as much as possible.

window to refine the
