The Best Time of Year to Visit
The actual ski season depends on the weather conditions
in the area, but it usually runs from November to early
May. If you’re a beginner and want to beat the huge
crowds, then plan your trip for around March and
April. The snow is still good and you won’t be queuing
for the ski lifts.
If you’re a keen skier and you’re heading out to Niseko
for its legendary deep powder, the ideal time to visit
is between late December and mid-February. It’s worth
noting, however, that the temperatures won’t climb much
above freezing, so make sure you pack your cold weather
gear.
