rule to the other direction (the direction goes through R, r 1 , and ξ 1 )
The potential difference V a -V c we apply second Kirchhoff’s rule starting at
point c to finishing at point a.
V a -V b = +ξ 1 + Ir 1 = +2+(-0.25×1) = +2.25v
