has watched me sit
beneath her cornea for hours
the fluid secreted by her lacrimal glands

inevitably birthing new specks
at the tip of my nose

whether my pillow coughs
like an old smoker
suppressed by the disarray

slipping quickly
like a small child on a waterslide
exiting my eyelids
or my diaphragm
brings me to the chapel
offering itself as a hammock
for no yesterday
and no tomorrow
certain beings are constant
whether the ripest mango
in my kitchen
notices me rewatching
my youngest little brother
screaming of his own suicide
as the sweetness
boogies through my esophagus
all the way down
or my blank paper bows in reverence
my attentiveness to her
fast and scourging
a telegram of ecstasy
desperately mirroring the gaze upon him
that was swallowed by time
swallowed by the fog
certain beings are constant
the sun
she will still rise and set
the rain
his emotion will remain the same
wherever
the damaged hair on my head
touches my pelvic bone
