You’ll see a land
Of peace and of silence
Where no one can meet
The darkness or violence
You’ve seen it before
In very small measures
In smiles of friends
And joy that you treasure
You’ll take a deep breath
To breathe this fresh air
Of comfort and quiet
Nothing compares
There’s constant peace
In the cold light
Gentle and sweet
Found at twilight
Here in this world
It’s not the same
That feeling of peace
That no one can name
Grown-ups are dancing
Children are playing
The songbirds are singing
The branches are swaying
Music is playing
Cheerful and bright
Playing through morning
And deep through the night
You’ll see a smile
On everyone’s face
As they quietly stroll
Throughout this calm place
Your time here is brief
To stay is forbidden
Cherish these moments
Accept what is given
Now time to get up
And go back to work
So look and you’ll see
This dream here on earth
