TB Test Certificate: For cattle from a Declared Movement<br />

Controlled Areas - All Cattle aged 3 months or older are to be TB<br />

tested,and have aclear test within 60 days prior to being moved<br />

to the Show.<br />

TB Animal Status Declaration Cards: All Cattle entered for this<br />

show must beaccompanied in transit by asigned and dated<br />

TB ASD card showing aclear status inaccordance with present<br />

legislation.<br />

These cardswill be inspectedduring the day<br />

ALL CATTLE MUST HAVE IN THEIR EARS THE OFFICIAL NAIT<br />

EAR TAG.<br />

For cattle being moved from 1July 2012: ANAIT approved<br />

RFID tag will be mandatory for all movements of cattle,<br />

including day old calves. NAIT approved RFID cattle tags are<br />

whiteonly.Please do not remove tags ifcattle areidentified<br />

with Animal Health BoardorMINDAtags.<br />

It is the livestock exhibitors responsibility torecord all animal<br />

movements with NAIT 48hrs prior to leaving the farm/property<br />

for the show and then within 48hrs of returning to the farm/<br />

property forthe show.<br />

Wherelivecattle or deer form partofatrade display theexhibitor<br />

is responsible for:<br />

i. Ensuring all stock have completed all TB testing requirements<br />

as per Animal Health Boardtesting regulations.<br />

ii. Ensuring all stock are identified in accordance with current<br />

legal requirements.<br />

Mycoplasma Bovis -Animals on properties underany suspicion<br />

of exposure toMycoplasma Bovis should not be transported to<br />

shows and events. The risk of Mycoplasma Bovis spreading at<br />

A&P shows forcattle at presentisquitelow,but thereisstill arisk<br />

wherever cattle maymingle.<br />

1. Animals showing clinical signs of ANY disease should not be<br />

transportedtoshows,asper normal biosecuritypractice.<br />

2. Practice good on-farm biosecurity and clean and disinfect<br />

outerwear, boots and equipment before attending ashow or<br />

event. On your return, clean and disinfectagain beforetaking<br />

outerwear, boots and equipment back onto your farm. For<br />

moreinformation refertothe guidance on mpi.govt.nz/bovis<br />

AGrand Parade will be held in the Main Oval at 2.30p.m.<br />

All cattle exhibits must be tied up and led by the halter before<br />

the judge forjudging.<br />
