Following recipe is late Margaret Chisnall to use<br />
SPONGE CAKE<br />
Preheatovento180 degrees Celsius<br />
4eggs ¾Csugar ¾Cflour ¼Ccornflour<br />
1Tsp baking Powder<br />
Separate eggs and beatwhites till stiff. Add yolk and beatlightly<br />
until well mixed,but don’t over beat.<br />
Addthe sugar and mix in gently. Sifttogether the dryingredients<br />
twoorthree times,then gently fold into the egg mixture.<br />
Lightly grease tworound sponge tins and line with greaseproof<br />
paper and put half ofmixture into each tin and bake for 20<br />
minutes.<br />
