Most Fun Small Town, Most Crazy Small Town, Most Small Town that Feels
Like a Big Town. Delray has it all. With a bustling downtown, Pineapple
Grove area, and little nooks and crannies in between, there’s more
to do in Delray now than ever, with events and happenings
spanning from daytime to nighttime. While it can
seem expensive at times, there’s a great
opportunity to enjoy all the City has to offer
without breaking the bank. Here’s what you can
do in Delray Beach in November for $50 or less.
DELRAY IS GOING TO THE DOGS
Who let the dogs out? Hopefully no one! Dogs are important
family members and deserve to be loved and respected.
If you are needing a four-legged family member in your
life or are looking to add another four-legged family member to
the bunch, Pets’ Broward has you covered. November is Adopt a
Senior Pet Month and even if you’re looking for a pet who needs
calm and casual love, or a pet who needs any and all love, the Delray
Is Going to the Dogs event is for you. Everyone - including dogs!
- is welcome to attend this festive and free Third Annual Pooches
& Presents in the Park event that supports animals in need. Attendees
can expect to meet adoptable dogs looking for a “furever”
home, enjoy tasty treats for people and pups, take pictures with
Santa, and even start your holiday shopping. There are fun activities
for kids and dogs, as well as an Air K9Z dog frisbee show at 1
p.m. and 3 p.m. If you’re feeling festive, decorate the pups in their
“cutest holiday attire” for chances to win prizes. The festival is held
Sunday, November 5 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Old School Square, 51 N.

and crafts but don’t
know where to start?
No problem! There are people
who love the art of crafting
and are happy to give
you handmade goods without
the need for you to even
pick up a single glue gun or pair of scissors. November is National
Entrepreneurship Month and you’re invited to join the Southern
Handcraft members for their Southern Handcraft Society’s 30th
Annual Art and Craft Show. This show is the largest, most incredible,
longest running, indoor art show in Delray Beach, and features
one-of-a-kind works of art from local crafters and artists.
You’ll find amazing holiday items along with jewelry, cards, shell
art, gourds, wood, headbands, local honey, and so much more.
What makes this show so unique is that the members are open to
sharing new techniques, classes and workshops with each other,
as well as future members! The Society was founded in 1985
and has grown to six chapters. Anyone interested in crafting and
friendship is welcome to join. The Show is held Thursday, November
16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, November 17 from 9
a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at
the Vintage Gym of Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave. Admission
