Veterans and their families remembered<br />
More than 100 veterans and ex-servicemen and women turned out for the <strong>November</strong> 11 Armistice Day parade conducted by the Rangiora RSA.<br />
Held at 11am at the RangioraCenotaph, the parade assembled before two scale WW2 fighter planes flew asalute overhead. Rangiora RSA<br />
Padre Bill Peck read the details about the last day of the war to end all wars in 1918. Waimakariri District Council Mayor Dan Gordon, RSA<br />
members and the public laid wreaths at the baseofthe cenotaph.<br />

Remembering others ... Terry Trembath, served in the Royal New<br />
Zealand Navy. He came to the parade to remember his brother Ray<br />
Trembath, who died last year after 41 years service in the New<br />
Zealand Army and the French Foreign Legion.
