Veterans and their families remembered
More than 100 veterans and ex-servicemen and women turned out for the November 11 Armistice Day parade conducted by the Rangiora RSA.
Held at 11am at the RangioraCenotaph, the parade assembled before two scale WW2 fighter planes flew asalute overhead. Rangiora RSA
Padre Bill Peck read the details about the last day of the war to end all wars in 1918. Waimakariri District Council Mayor Dan Gordon, RSA
members and the public laid wreaths at the baseofthe cenotaph.

Remembering others ... Terry Trembath, served in the Royal New
Zealand Navy. He came to the parade to remember his brother Ray
Trembath, who died last year after 41 years service in the New
Zealand Army and the French Foreign Legion.
