The ibllowing calculations show that core samples with a direct reading of equal to or less than<br />

400,000 dpm/100cm' will be below the definition of radioactive mate rial as defined in 49 CFR 173.40±<br />

of 70 Bq/g (2F3 pCi/g). Lach sample will consist of concrete materi al from [our. two inch core<br />

samples and enough water to make a slurry consistency. 'fhe dislrihution cdmdionuclides is based on<br />

previous concrete samples taken front the below grade Fuel Stora ge Bas in that would also be<br />

representative of these com:rctc samples.<br />
