The following calculations show that cur sunplawith a direct reading of equal to ur icss than
400.000 dpm/10(km' will be below the definition of radioactive mate rial as de fi ned in 49 CFR 173.40;
of 70 Bq/g (2F.3 pCi/g). Lach sample will consist of concrete material form four, two inch con
samples and enough water to make a slutr • consissncy. The diianhution of radionuclides is biped un
previous concrete samples taken front the below grade Fuel Storage Basin that would also he
representative of these concrete samples.
