Needs Assessment and Description
New methods to allow preservation of fertility after
treatment for cancer are rapidly developing. Coordination
and development of a program for fertility preservation
is of substantial interest for fertility programs as well as
cancer centers. Guidance on the development of fertility
preservation is needed by members of ASRM, as reflected
by the large number of Fertility Preservation Special Interest
Group members and the paucity of effectively-functioning
fertility preservation programs.
