GENDER BUDGETING CELL
The Department has established a Gender Budgeting Cell in pursuance of the recommendations of
the Inter-Departmental Committee, Govt. of India
The Gender Budgeting Cell takes necessary action as per the guidelines/ circular of Ministry of
Finance for identifying specific schemes for which budget needs to be earmarked for the benefit of
women under various schemes supported by DBT, for the year 2006-2007 are as follows :
