Moved and carried that the Medical College Council make recom
mendations to the Board of Trustees as follows :
1. That the report putting the Business Administration of the De
partment of Experimental Medicine on the same basis as other de
partments in the College be accepted, and that the requisition for
additional appropriations be referred back to the Dean with instruc
tions to bring the proposed expenditures within the appropriations
already provided.
2. That free tuition scholarships in the Medical College be abolished
after the present year ; subject, however to the extension of free
tuition existing, and only from year to year during the balance of
the course, upon the recommendation of the Dean.
3. That the request of Dr. J. R. Murlin for an appropriation of
$300 to payT for services of a chemical assistant, be laid on the table.
4. That the request of Dr. Ethel N. Browne, Assistant in Anatomy,
for a leave of absence from March 15, 1916, for the balance of the
Spring term,
be granted without prejudice to salary.
5. That the following fees for special students be paid to the follow
ing instructors :

Dispensary reports for the month of January, 1916, were presented
and placed on file.
Moved and carried that the minutes of this meeting be approved
as read.
