of its members who, with the Dean of such Faculty, shall constitute a
committee to meet as often as desired with the Committee on General
Administration, the Committee on Finance or the Committee on
Buildings and Grounds (according to the nature of the matter), for
the consideration of questions affecting the welfare of such College ;
that the members of such committee other than the Dean shall be
selected by ballot and for definite terms or as each occasion for con
ference arises and under such conditions as may be provided by the
Faculty selecting them.
b. Resolved, That the University Faculty be authorized and in
vited for and during the period of three years commencing June i
next to select delegates who shall represent it in the Board of Trustees.
Said representatives shall not at any time exceed three in number.
They and their successors shall be selected by ballot and for such
terms respectively, not extending beyond the period above mentioned,
as shall be fixed by the Faculty. They shall have the right to meet
with the Board of Trustees and the Committee on General Adminis
tration and shall possess the usual powers of Trustees except the
right to vote.
20. The following was presented :
Report of committee appointed, pursuant to resolution adopted by
the Board of Trustees at their meeting held January 15, 19-16, to con
sider and report on the seventh recommendation made by the Semi
centennial Celebration Committee to the Board of Trustees at its said
meeting, which recommendation reads as follows

That the Board of Trustees appoint a Committee on additional

endowment, this Committee to carry on its work independently of the
Semi-centennial Committee."

Mr. Boldt selected Mr. Place and Mr. DuPratt White as the two
other members of the Board.

1. An indiscriminate house to house canvass of the public for con
tributions of any size.
