i. That the committee of the University Faculty,
whose report is
annexed, be requested to outline a definite curriculum for the pro
posed college and to make a careful estimate of the minimum annual
increase which the establishment of such college would make in the
University budget.
2. That, provided ways and means can be found to cover the

financial requirements, a new college, to be known as The College
' '
of Business Administration and Public Affairs at Cornell University,
be organized as a college of semi-graduate grade, offering courses two
years in length and leading to a master's degree, and so organized
that its work may be joined to that of any of the undergraduate
colleges of the University, and open to (a) college graduates, (b)
students who have completed three years of work in any of the un
dergraduate colleges of Cornell University or in other colleges] of
similar grade, and, under careful restrictions, to (c) a limited number
of mature students with business experience, not candidates for a de
gree.
3. That the plans for such college be made sufficiently broad
eventually to cover instruction in matters relating to preparation for
the public service, and to provide for the foundation of a library of
commercial bibliography and for the erection of a building

14. The report of the Committee appointed at the April meeting of
the Board on the publication of the Ten Year Book was presented and
referred to a special committee consisting of the members of the
Committee on Annual Alumni lists and of this committee, to wit;
Trustees Mason, Matthews, and C. E. Treman and the Registrar and
Secretary
of the University.
15. Trustee Sackett, as Chairman of the Semi-Centennial Celebra
tion Committee, reported the following recommendations of the
Committee adopted at a meeting held in Ithaca, June 19, 1916.
1. That the tentative skeleton outline of the plan and scope of the
proposed Celebration to be held on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday,
October 6, 7, and 8, 1918, be amended so as to add to the previously
suggested events for the morning and afternoon of Sunday, October
6, the following :
Evening : Illumination and informal music.
2. The selection by the Chairman of the Committee of a Standing
Committe on Pageantry, Masque and Spectacles, with Louis A.
Fuertes as Chairman.
3. The appointment of the Secretary of the University, H. A.
Hitchcock,
