Moved and seconded, That the present site of the Chemical Labora
tory is not suitable ; therefore, the structure should not be rebuilt.
Carried.
Moved and Seconded, That the Committee recommend as a site for
the new Chemical Laboratory the present location of President
Schurman's house. Carried.
Moved and seconded, That the selection of Architects for the
Chemical Laboratory be left with a Committee consisting
of Chair
man Edwards and Messrs. White and Westervelt, to investigate and
report.

negotiations for a sale of the Guiteau property at Irvington and the
matter of the sale was referred back with power to the Committee
consisting of Trustee Sackett and the Comptroller.

President with either the Comptroller or the Treasurer be authorized
to execute on behalf of the University any and all deeds or other
