Poor defrosting<br />

The refrigerator fan motor does not work<br />

1 Short-circuit the terminal and of the compulsory<br />
defrosting terminals (CN1M) of the control board to actuate<br />
the compulsory defrosting function and check whether the<br />
defrost heater is working properly. *1<br />
2 Check if there is conduction between thermal fuse<br />
and defrost heater.<br />

Unplug and plug the power cord to perform self-check on<br />
refrigerator fan motor. Is the display indicating abnormality?<br />
Running<br />
Check the door switch for conduction.<br />
•Open and close the refrigerator door several times<br />
and check if the room light will be turned on and off<br />
(Room light should get turned off when the door comes<br />
10mm close to the refrigerator body .)<br />
•Close the refrigerator compartment door until the light is<br />
turned off . Open and close the ice-making-compartment<br />
door , and from the space of refrigerator compartment<br />
door, check that the room light is turned on and off.<br />
Check if there is continuity in 4-pin fan motor connector in<br />
versa compartment.<br />

Check the following and explain the<br />
result: half-open door, space between<br />
gaskets, the amount of ice.<br />
Replace the defrost heater and the<br />
thermal fuse.<br />
Check the resistance of the defrost<br />
thermistor.<br />

not work when the temperature<br />
of the defrost thermistor is 14°C<br />

Replace refrigerator fan motor.<br />

Check if CN4D connector on control<br />
board is connected properly.<br />
If it is, replace the control board.<br />

Contact failure of<br />

Connect it properly.<br />
Check if the connector on<br />
the door switch is connected<br />
properly. If it is, replace<br />
the door switch.<br />
Connect the connectors properly.<br />
Replace refrigerator fan motor.<br />
Note: Refrigerator fan motor is combined<br />
with fan grille.<br />
If any one of those doors are open, the switch between<br />
and , terminals of 3-pin connector, will be OFF)<br />
