Social Committee Report
The Long Awaited Month of November
By ELEANOR VIRKLER
Committee Chair
“Give me the end of the year an’ its fun…”
says Edgar A. Guest in his poem “Thanksgiving.”
I agree! Leaves have tumbled
to the ground, yielding bare
trunks. Early morning fog settles
exhilarating than any wine they tell of. The mite which November
contributes becomes equal in value to the bounty of July.”
